Services & Approach

What I do — and why it works

Three services that find your accessibility barriers, fix what matters, and build your team's skills to stay compliant — all in an advisory model that keeps you in control.

What I do

Three ways I help you meet the standard

Accessibility Audits

A thorough WCAG 2.1 AA evaluation using DHS Trusted Tester methodology. You get a clear, annotated report: every issue found, who it affects, and the exact code fix — written so your developers can act on it directly.

Guided Remediation

Your developers implement the fixes; I review their work and confirm each one resolves the issue correctly. You get expert guidance without handing over your systems — advisory hours, on your schedule.

Training

Practical workshops are available that build lasting in-house accessibility skills, using real examples from your own site. The goal is a team that can catch and prevent issues on its own — so you depend on outside help less over time. Live video sessions for developers, designers, content authors and QA teams!

Also available: VPAT preparation for procurement, and quarterly re-audits to stay compliant as your site changes over time.

The advisory model

Expert help, without access to your systems

By design, my work requires no server credentials, no CMS logins, and no production access. I identify issues and show your team exactly how to fix them; they implement inside your own environment.

This isn't a limitation — it's a deliberate choice that benefits you:

  • No security risk — I never touch your systems, so I can't introduce one.
  • You stay in control — your team owns every change to your code.
  • Faster starts — no lengthy access provisioning or security reviews to begin.
  • Lasting capability — your team learns by doing, not by outsourcing.

Why work with me

Specialist credentials you can rely on

DHS Trusted Tester Certified

One of the most rigorous accessibility credentials available — the federal government's own standard for Section 508 testing, held by very few independent consultants. It means your audit is done to a recognized, defensible standard.

Deep technical experience

4.5 years focused on accessibility auditing and remediation — including leading an accessibility team — on top of 12 years in web development. Fixes are explained accurately and practically, at the level your developers work.

Fully insured

Professional liability (errors & omissions) coverage is carried with a Certificate of Insurance available on request — the assurance institutional clients expect from a vendor.

Focused on your sectors

While specifically geared towards government, healthcare, and higher education organizations with real compliance obligations and the need for clear, documented, defensible work — all e-commerce sectors benfit greatly as well with increased sales and reduced customer service efforts.

Protect your business

From 2017 to 2022, federal web accessibility filings exploded from roughly 800 cases in 2017 to a peak of over 4,000–4,300 total annual filings by 2022. Following a brief plateau, federal web accessibility lawsuits jumped 27% to 3,117 cases in 2025, with combined state and federal digital filings surpassing 5,000 E-commerce and retail platforms bear the brunt of the surge, accounting for roughly 70% to 78% of all digital accessibility claims due to high transaction volumes and complex multi-page checkouts.
